Keys and security

How this account's tags are kept safe.

Master key

Every tag's keys come from this account's master key. It is kept encrypted by AWS's key service (KMS) and only opened inside Knura Cloud to check a tap or set up a tag. It is never shown, sent or downloadable, not even to you.
